The full venue can accommodate a maximum of 100 people seated around tables.
For fitness/dance/active classes, the full venue can accommodate approximately
50 people.
As a full venue downstairs, this room has 2 main entrances both at the front of the building, and 2 accessible entrance via the fire exits (one at the front of the building, and one accessed through our playground).
COVID-19 Capacity Limits
Allowing 2m2 per person for physical activities the full downstairs venue can accommodate 37 people. However current bubble limits restrict this to
30 people.
For seated groups, where attendees are not from the same household/bubble, allowing 1m between chairs it can accommodate up to 70 people. However current bubble limits may restrict this to 30 people.
Due to COVID-19 and Government Guidance regarding social distancing, any person wishing to hire one of rooms is required to carry out their own risk assessment of the premises to ensure that social distancing measures can be implemented and maintained.
All Group Leaders must ensure that they santize all tables, chairs and touch points after their group has finished.
Room Hire
All bookings are in 30 minute blocks. The minimum booking time is 1½ hours for a 1 hour group/class. This is to allow time both before and after your group for people to arrive/pay/sign-in etc and to ensure there are no overlapping of groups. This is particularly important at the moment to ensure we do not exceed our capacity limits on site , and to allow time for sanitizing after your group.
Hire Rates
We offer a discounted* hire rate for groups/classes who offer a discounted rate on class fees to BCA Members.
A typical discount offered on classes is 10% of the class fee.
We want all activities held at our community centre to be affordable and accessible to our local community.
Corporate Rate
One Off Bookings - £60 per hour
Regular Weekly Bookings - £50 per hour
Small Local Business Rate
One Off Bookings - £50 per hour
Regular Weekly Bookings - £40 per hour
Not for Profit Rate
Fixed Price - £35 per hour
